invisible words take shape
cursive on her rippling skin
she sighs as they are absorbed
-----
words curl about
finding her secrets
her sighs become moans
her moans become cries
as their meanings
penetrate
-----
she invites touches
where no one else is allowed
for the sake of love
-----
love's no single thing
a massive force of nature
from a tiny seed
-----
for as tree and trunk
and limbs and leaves may grow
from a single seed upon the breeze
so love itself caught by the wind
blown to fertile soil
watered and fed by secret tears
both of joys and sorrows
and unknown desires
may accomplish miracles
and last beyond the lifetime
of the mortal
in whose heart
it first took root
-----
love me for a while
embracing me long enough
to write a poem
-----
words i clothe you in
such intricate lace to wear
and so revealing
-----
penny for your thoughts
though they're worth much more than that
i'll pay poetry
-----
l love old bookstores
i also love old book stores
different yet same
-----
makes magic motions
reviving resting embers
fanning fiery needs
cannot wait for him
but happy to welcome him
with her leaping flames
aware of shared heat
he will warm himself and help
keep her fires alive
-----
i'm the sacrifice
impaled by my own desires
bleeding with passion
-----
there's no hotter page
than her body where my words
are set down in flames
-----
belongs to herself
what is she if she's not free
and freely given
-----
fingers summon storm
rushing winds breaking through her
gales of ecstasy
-----
candlelight flickers
shadows making obscene acts
as lover's make love
-----
what was done recalled
some things called sin are blessings
of blissful pleasure
-----
body remembers
all dear things that lovers share
cellular levels
