My best friend's kid sister,
Two years earlier a stick,
But this time a young woman.
My hands on her waist,
Hers upon my shoulders,
Her face inches from mine
How did she become so pretty
So rapidly?
How did that skinny girl,
Become a woman?
Lifting her down,
Bodies brushed,
Breaths mingled,
We laughed for some reason,
A memory was made.
