yellows, oranges, pinks and reds
impressionistic tulip beds
rows of blue grape hyacinths
enchanting me with fragrant scents
daffodils in bonnets
swaying with the breeze
I hear a poet's sonnet
whispering in the leaves
mockingbird in cherry tree
sings his favorite melody
