theology quandary
how much love would you commit
if love were not sin

she is universe
orbiting love and desire
galaxies of need
-----
summon smokey bear
we're about to start a fire
that we can't control

insistent longing
this incredible desire
to know you love me

life's been difficult
as long as i remember
not expecting heaven
hope there's no more hell

the breeze a lover
stroking her burning body
creates fantasies
-----
drop by drop it falls
clear warm honey of desire
over eager lips
-----
she suspects he knows
what his words can do to her
writes for her to read
-----
wait for you to read
as you wait for me to write
and that's why i write

love's tastes forgotten
moments of ecstasy missed
