WORDS STROKE LIKE FINGERS, AND OTHER POEMS, MARCH 23, 2025

words stroke like fingers

leave hot tingling trails of lust...

soul's surface burning

-----

How free her words are,

How the sentiments flow,

Her heart's boundaries overrun

With the need to express,

The inner feelings,

The outer displays that she,

Must only reveal in words,

Flowing freely from

Her poet's heart.

-----

society's traps

can ensnare the most free souls

destroying their dreams

-----

desires are not sin

just protect the innocent

accepting who you are

-----

life of pain and sorrow

never fated to rise above

or escape my chains

-----

this ancient knight stands

perpetual allegiance

to the oaths I've sworn

-----

hush or they might hear

body and face revealing

stifled ecstasy

-----

checked your page today

to make sure you were okay

because you matter

-----

let's not call them sins

these open honest acts of love

many others fear

-----

desire demanded

she must touch herself for him

she did not resist

-----

don't cut it back for me, he said

i prefer it growing wild

if there's no mark of woman there

i'll think you are a child

and i am not that kind of man

want a matron not a maid

a delta where the pleasure rests

where lips will be laid

my beard is here to brush your skin

and i love the one you grow

while mine is found upon my face

woman's beard grows down below

-----

her bare skin on fire

words a gown of flaming silk

poetry ignites

-----

her kisses soothing

fallen angel's open wounds

where his wings once were

-----

piques more than interest

how the old poet and she

share much in common

-----

she's broken the rules

but all's done in name of love

more than most can grasp
