just above her heart
i hear messages begun
just below her heart

once i dreamed of love
but that's all it's ever been
just a dream i had

much more than mere flesh
embodiment of woman
immortal goddess
-----
living in a world
where everyone's a stranger
writing my echoes

writing empty words
the echoes fading away
as people pass by
-----
gave so much of myself
got so little in return
guess that's how life works

not too old to love
kisses up and down her neck
with hugs from behind
-----
saw you in my dreams
dancing among butterflies
glimpsed between their wings

two stars within one
in their ecstasy become
sensual novae

adrift on your breeze

all that she asks for
a love that will accept her
just the way she is

i know how she loves
her honest ways and manners
respect her for them

life's just a pathway
on the journey to the dark
