written on her open wings

spread before his pen

after her climax

she floats in love's afterglow

secure in my arms

little kitten purrs

naked body cuddles mine

claws sunk in my back

slip into my shirt

the one i already wear

be that close always

unrestrained at first

how his poetry left her

freer than before

i will hold your hands

behind your back as we bend

to mutual needs

not me she speaks of

no matter the lovely words

i wish were for me

true woman travels

pathway paved with her desires

bids me to follow

this old heart beats on

not having the sense to stop

while love might be found

sleek black bird of death

sitting outside my window

cares naught about words

will you hold my hand

never be ashamed of me

for being myself

to my mind at least

maturity is sexy

no girls need apply
