her shadow poet
often heard but never seen
leaving word bouquets

brightly as you burn
never knowing your own heat
until reflected

we, the light and i,
scan pages of poetry
illumination
-----
woman is poet
by lines of body and mind
she becomes the art
-----
poets taking flight
escaping the bonds of earth
celestial rovers
-----
poet sees what's not
those things twixt fact and image
set down into words
-----
sharing beyond love
nestlings of a common kind
grokking in fullness
-----
roughness of his hands
with his tenderness of touch
her sighs his guidance
-----
folds of her flower
deep the curls of her pleasure
honeyed petals spread
-----
our bodies collide
our beating hearts intertwine
our two become one
-----
eschewing fig leaf
she prefers to pose as eve
for poet adam
-----
my mouth crosses her
making note of hills and curves
whispers cause quivers
-----
in private moments
my words are secret pleasures
you clutch to your breast

my lady matron
butterflies upon her skin
their wings aflutter
