like some fabled giant

no one comprehends my love

its size and its strength

it's an empty space

where my heart once resided

before she broke it

hard to understand

how can i be so empty

yet so full of love

not many get me

and fewer want to have me

if they do exist

life's a funny thing

i wasn't always depressed

by happy people

-----

people say they love me

until they get to know me

then they disappear

-----

i'll leave quietly

made a mess of things once more

just by being me

-----

i've lost interest

in life's indifferent love

and recurring pain

-----

like all other nights

i will lay here by myself

waiting for sad dreams

soft and warm your lips

playful tongue calls mine to join

loving game of tag

-----

on life's stormy sea

should have thrown me overboard

lighten everyone's load

seen them come and go

none ever wanted to stay

words just aren't strong enough

i give you the world

freedom you have said you crave

but it frightens you

licking her wet lips

savoring his taste once more

how he felt inside

come take this sadness

lift it from me for a while

pretend i matter

you saw my other side

never heard from you again

you only loved part

Describing the most

Intimate of feelings,

The strongest of desires,

The insistence of needs,

Exposing all of you,

The inner woman,

Who makes

The outer woman,

So exciting,

Desirable, and

Beautiful.
