your heartbeat racing

frenzied by my fingertips

spurred on by my touch

each line a new stroke

poetry brushes her flesh

his fingers at play

how daringly you dance

stripped down to nearly nothing

shadow of your truth

speak your wants and needs

poetry is for wishing

plain words for passion

waited a lifetime

but life just kept on going

not leaving much time

i know how you taste

how your nectar gleams and flows

at once salt and sweet

saw your heart and smiled

said much about you

in sickness and health

i will do what man can do

to never fail you

back turned to the world

to hide beauty or see it better

or to be herself

-----

misunderstood words

discipline and submission

each begins with trust

first you love yourself

then love the reason you love

loving both the same

wholly committed

discipline yourself to love

submitting in awe
