OVER HER SHOULDER A SMILE, AND OTHER POEMS, MARCH 16, 2025

over her shoulder a smile

said i'll see you in a while

a quite charming lass

who showed me her sass

with neither deceit or with guile

-----

fingers red on thorns

lover's ink becoming words

written in silence

-----

lay naked with me

rest face down upon my back

kissing my shoulders

-----

how can you love me

when you know nothing of me

dare offer nothing

-----

intimate meeting

brought together in love's land

no longer strangers

-----

a tangled twosome

bodies and bedsheets entwined

mid sounds of passion

-----

he is her support

at each edge of her desires

each exploration
