i am who i am
if you cannot love me this way
it is no one's fault

lovers find themselves at ease
with one another

satisfy expectations
perhaps it's not love

illuminating desires
burning in your breast

quick as hummingbird
her tongue flickers as it writes
lewd words on my skin

so many stone walls
and stolen expectations
left too many scars

mind and body free
for daring explorations
past desire's edges

on an open beach
taking on her lover's dare
loving comes in waves

so much i must go way
