DANGLING FROM FINGERS, AND OTHER POEMS, AUGUST 7, 2025

dangling from fingers

the restraints she so desires

book of his poems

-----

how soft is my gaze

yet she quivers neath its touch...

its intensity

-----

my eyes strip away

all she tries to hide behind

but she does not flee

-----

what is nakedness

than the most natural state

for life and for love

-----

how many poems

bearing your image in them

have i left the world

-----

i hold in my mouth

the taste of your lovely words...

poems you gave me

-----

she's best read by touch

poetry that's felt and heard

fingers pass over

-----

low soft voice of love

in the darkness i hear her

echoes on the wind

-----

lips move as i write

the poems i made for her...

words she'll never hear

-----

she reads my heartbeats

verses coursing through my veins...

i'm my own poem

-----

low growl in my throat

i smell desire on your skin...

as if a wild beast
