FOR LOVE'S A WILD THING, AND OTHER POEMS, JANUARY 22, 2025

no wish to tame her

kisses wildly beating wings

for love's a wild thing

-----

she wove no spell, but

woman still enchanted me,

and captured my heart

-----

sometimes exotic

sometimes a simple woman

always enchanting

-----

her alluring look

eyes that speak to me of love

dare me to embrace

-----

reads my poetry

lets me know when pleasure blooms

somewhere deep inside

-----

four written for you

before the sun has risen

you've brightened my day

-----

my eyes upon her

enraptured by the woman

posing for poet

-----

her own poetry

captured in her stance and gaze

verses beyond words

-----

no hesitation

surrendering to love's touch

giving all she is

-----

for his liquid pearls

her warm translucent honey

a loving barter

-----

an electric shock

sent coursing through her body

desires ignited

-----

enticing to view

this woman becomes for me

exotic goddess

-----

poet writes of her

princess from an ancient time

their eternal love

-----

proudly she rises

teaching her loving regent

to kneel before her

-----

burning for your love

mouth longing for your moisture...

your waters cool me

-----

do you know each night

i awake envision you

hope we'll meet in dreams

-----

a princess reborn

her regal face remembered

by an ancient love

-----

in some other time

i was so much younger then

gave it all for you

legend tells it all

how our love so immortal

ended with our deaths

until the day i saw

young princess reincarnate

my old body wept
