proud and unafraid... and yet...
nakedly exposed

flooding back as memories
recalling tears and pain

how deeply she touches me
this stranger i love

wonder how i died
what final blow severed heart
and left me lifeless

despite my desires
i can only make you sad
turn laughter to pain

i attend her class
education in sadness
with lots of homework

sad memories that cloak you
wear my love instead
