Alone

A wisp, a thought

Hot on your ear

Gleem of recognition

Energy from afar

Begging you to listen

Imploring, crying in the dark

Don’t leave me alone.

blindly she reaches

stretching out her hand

in darkness and desperation,

fingers clutching emptiness,

until...

a touch, a sound, a light,

her hand firmly grasped,

the familiar face,

the familiar voice,

as one they speak,

"where have you been,

I've been searching for you

leaving hints so you

could find your way home to me"
