SOFTLY SENSUAL, AND OTHER POEMS, AUGUST 17, 2025
softly sensual
casually intimate
bare bodies brushing
-----
none need forgive you
you've committed no sin
exploring yourself
-----
inevitable
words don't die but poets do
-----
life's a painful thing
sometimes striking fast and deep
sometimes slow torture
-----
Have you ever sinned for pleasure
Because you were sad and alone?
Have you ever found a treasure,
Hidden by heart of stone.
-----
gasp becomes sigh
too afraid to close that gap
twixt pain and pleasure
-----
i am not "the one"
never been nor shall i be
always been, "oh, him"
-----
when we are alone
we lovers create the rules
and then ignore them
-----
wearing but a smile
her bosom decorated
priceless pearls adorned
-----
solo adventures
touches drew forth feral cries
wished her love could hear
-----
think i don't see you
you're the first thing i look for
highly visible
