My Grandson
I know a boy with sky-blue eyes
He's happy as can be
Plays basketball and soccer
And everyone can see
He runs so fast the sun can't cast
His shadow accurately
His mind's so quick you can't keep up
With what he's planning next
He might play Bach or paint a rock
Or send a brilliant text
He might play fetch with Striker
His dog with golden hair
Or make us laugh when someone sits
On a whoopee he put there!
He'll score a perfect 10 today
I'll bet he jumps for joy
That's my grandson, André Read
